Job Title: Career & Schools Liaison Adviser Duration: Permanent Salary: £24,772 FTE (actual £13,953.82) Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per year Location: Highbury Campus (Cosham) Highbury College have an exciting opportunity for a Career & Schools Liaison Adviser to join the Careers & Progression team. As a Career & Schools Liaison Adviser you will be working in an exciting and diverse environment. You will be responsible for providing high quality careers guidance and advice to all potential and existing students at all College sites, along with building and maintaining working relationships with partner schools and coordinating school partnership activities. You will be working with students of all ages from Pre-16 to adult learners so you will need to have a passion for helping to change lives and supporting students to achieve their goals. Main Duties • Offer impartial advice & guidance to potential students and members of the public on the opportunities available Post 14. • Work closely with Sector Leads and teaching teams, to provide information and careers guidance to all students that have a requirement. • Deliver school liaison activities and school taster events • Participate in College Open Days and enrolment events and Career fairs • Work with the Employment Services team and the Admission team to offer advice and guidance, including information on courses, employment possibilities and career pathways Skills and Experience • Diploma in Careers Guidance (Level 4) or equivalent • Experience of working in an advisory role either with careers advice or employment advice • Excellent interpersonal skills.
