The Law Society is proud to represent a diverse legal profession. That’s why we’re joining in this
year’s World Pride March to promote gay marriage and celebrate our LGBT members.
The Law Society is the representative body for solicitors in England and Wales, helping to protect
and promote the profession, standing up for a fair and just legal system, and campaigning for
better law. We believe that the legal profession doesn’t just exist to help people enforce their
rights, but also to help shape the law and make those rights a reality.

The Law Society is an inclusive employer, we’re a great place to work, and provide a wide range
of opportunities for staff to develop within the organisation. Take a look at our website, to see what opportunities we have available.
You’ll find us at this years Word Pride parade in London, marching alongside the Bar Council,
CiLEX, BLAGG and the Interlaw Diversity Forum under the banner Equality Under the Law
promoting the message “lawyers for gay marriages”.
