We’ve gathered our favourite 2023 Pride Events spanning across the whole of the country. Take your pick this Pride Season; there’s certainly plenty to choose from… 


Birmingham Pride  

26-28 May 2023 

Birmingham Pride held its first event back in 1997. Since then, it has become one of the most important LGBTQ+ festivals in the UK attracting in excess of 40,000 people over the course of the weekend to the festival site in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village and over 75,000 participating in or watching our annual pride parade through the streets of Birmingham.

The Fountain Inn 

The Fountain Inn is a small independent gay bar and letting rooms in the heart of Birmingham’s iconic gay village. 



York Pride  

3 June 2023 

The largest Pride in North Yorkshire! Fun Fair, Parade, Stalls, and great entertainment. 

York Pride is a free family friendly event, whilst no entry fee is charged donations are welcome. 



Oxford Pride  

3 June 2023 

Oxford Pride is an important event that celebrates the LGBTIQ+ community, brings people together and shows solidarity. Pride is about overcoming prejudice, hatred, reducing isolation and showing members of the LGBTIQ+ community that they are not alone.

Horse & Groom Village Inn 

A gay-owned friendly and welcoming 16th Century Cotswolds Village Inn with large beer garden and en-suite bedrooms set in the beautiful village of Upper Oddington, close to the Historic Market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. 



Blackpool Pride  

10 June 2023 

A host of internationally acclaimed music stars are lined up for Pride Blackpool’s biggest ever weekend.

Portsmouth Pride  

10 June 2023 

Portsmouth Pride aims to be more than just an LGBTQ+ parade and gathering, Portsmouth Pride feel that as times are moving on, so should the ethos of Pride. Portsmouth Pride will not discriminate against any person who wants to find out more information or meet new people, we aim to create a safe space for everyone in our community. 



Pride Canterbury 

10-11 June 2023 

Pride Canterbury is a spectacular celebration of LGBT+ identity for the whole family, set in the heart of Canterbury. Featuring a parade through Canterbury High Street, followed by live entertainment with food and drink in the Dane John Gardens. Join 20,000 other people to come together to celebrate diversity, equality, and progress. 



Salford Pride: The Pink Picnic  

17 June 2023 

The Pink Picnic is Salford’s annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Non-binary plus (LGBT+) pride event and is back again in 2023 for its twelfth year. The day will host an array of live entertainment on the main stage, showcasing a roster of local diverse LGBT+ talent and headline artists. 



Cambridge Pride  

17 June 2023 

Cambridge Pride is an event focused on community, inclusivity, and celebration. Cambridge has a big queer community and a long history of LGBTQ+ events. The Pink Festival, which organised open-air summer events from 2003, has played a big part in that. We aim for Cambridge Pride to always be a free event, and with the generous financial support of local businesses and organisations, we hope it will be an annual fixture in the city’s vibrant events calendar.

Black Ivy 

The Black Ivy Hotel is a modern and stylish boutique hotel located in the heart of Edinburgh. The Black Ivy hotel is just a short walk from many of Edinburgh’s top attractions, including the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and the Scottish National Gallery. It is also located a short distance from the city’s famous gay district, known as the Pink Triangle. Here, you’ll find a number of gay bars, clubs, and shops. 



Essex Pride  

24 June 2023 

Essex Pride is an annual celebration of LGBT+ life in Essex and beyond. Establishing itself since it began in 2003 as a cornerstone event showcasing Essex’s successful approach to diversity and inclusion, and even becoming a factor in Chelmsford being granted City Status in 2012 by her Majesty The Queen. 



Pride in London  

1 July 2023 

On Saturday, 2 July, the parade will trace the route of the historic 1972 march, passing important sites from the UK’s LGBT+ movement.  



Northampton Pride  

8 July 2023 

Taking place between 11am and 4pm, the event is organised by Northampton’s LGBTQ and Allies Forum and aims to highlight the LGBTQ+ community, businesses, and support organisations.  



Bristol Pride’s Pride Day  

8 July 2023 

Bristol Pride is a unique and important event that celebrates the LGBT+ community and offers the chance to connect and bring people together. 

As well as showcasing our wonderfully diverse community, Pride is about overcoming prejudice, hatred, reducing isolation, and showing members of the LGBT+ community that they are not alone.

Avon Gorge By Hotel Du Vin 

There’s no better-located gay accommodation in Bristol than the Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin. The hotel lies in one of the prettiest areas of Bristol, Clifton Village, and enjoys magnificent views of the incredible Clifton Suspension Bridge. The 1898-built Grade-II grand Victorian structure has spent time as a spa before transforming into the hotel it is today. 



Brighton Pride  

4-7 August 2023 

Widely acknowledged as the country’s most popular Pride event, with over 300,000 people thronging the city’s streets to participate in and watch the parade, Brighton Pride is certainly not one to be missed.

Legends Hotel

Manchester Pride Festival  

25-28 August 2023 

Manchester Pride Festival is a ‘party as protest.’ We’re a part of the largest LGBTQ+ liberation movement in the world, celebrating queer people, culture, and expression as loudly and publicly as possible in a refusal to hide in shame. 



Our favourite place to stay in Manchester… 

Velvet Hotel 

The Velvet Hotel is located in the heart of Manchester’s gay scene, in this area, also called the Gay Village, almost all gay bars, clubs and shops of Manchester are situated. The hotel offers spacious, nicely furnished rooms with excellent facilities. In the weekend DJ’s will take care of the music in the bar of the hotel. In the restaurant tasty English meals are served. The gay scene of Manchester is just steps away as are the city center of Manchester, several theaters and museums and train station Piccadilly Station. 



Leicester Pride  

2 September 2023 

Leicester Pride is Leicester’s annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) festival, held at the beginning of September each year. The event is free to attend and celebrates equality and diversity in our community. Leicester Pride is a family event with entertainment and attractions suitable for all ages. 



Reading Pride  

2 September 2023 

We work throughout the year to promote equality and to celebrate the very best of the LGBT+ community. Get involved with this year’s FREE-to-enter Pride Parade & Festival and share your stories of #LoveUnites. 



Basildon Pride Festival  

2 September 2023  

Kicking off with the pride parade, come along for great live acts, delicious food, interesting talks, and fun for the whole family. 



Milton Keynes Pride  

9 September 2023 

Milton Keynes Pride Festival brings an incredible, inclusive and accessible event for the LGBTQ+ community of Milton Keynes! The event seeks to engage in its social action by the relationships made, education and legacy.

Enfield Pride

10th June 2023

Enfield Pride takes over DAC. Featuring appearances from Drag Race stars Sminty Drop and Jonbers Blonde, live music from Steptastic, George Michael tribute performer Randall Butler, country performer Norma Night and heaps of entertainment, Enfield Pride 2023 is not to be missed.
