She’s back, Drag Queen, musician, stand up comedian, entertainer, entrepreneur. After a successful UK tour in 2018, All Stars 3 winner Trixie Mattel returns for a full length theatre tour!

Trixie Mattel announces a thirteen date UK tour to hit our shores this April and May 2022. The theatre tour will take the pop culture icon, music groundbreaker and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars across the UK which includes pit stops in; Glasgow, Ireland, Blackpoool, Edinburgh, Hull, Manchester, Birmingham, Bath, Newcastle, London and Brighton..

“Trixie Mattel: Grown Up” will find Trixie reinventing the hilarious charm of her previous tours (“Ages 3 and Up”, “Now With Moving Parts”, “Super Bowl Cut” and “Skinny Legend”), creating an intoxicating mix of her unparalleled sense of deranged and perfectly delivered humor, with her serious musical chops, often including Trixie accompanying herself on guitar and autoharp.  Trixie will be joined by a four piece band, signaling a more plugged-in sonic shift for the global folk chart topper.

Trixie Mattel is not only a major pop culture figure but a stand up comedian and musician with talents that defy classification. Trixie’s coming to the UK on tour with an exciting vintage garage-rock reinvention.

Expect to feel that you’ve landed in a PeeWee Herman video, with some surf rock and a love for 60s country music. She’s listening to a lot of Fountains Of Wayne and Apples In Stereo, collecting mod Barbie dolls and watching Brady Brunch reruns!

Trixie Mattel has broken major ground as an entertainer, first rocketing to national fame when she competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race seventh season, and later coming back to win the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Trixie has co-created and currently stars in the wildly successful comedy web show UNHhhh in the US with fellow Drag Race alum Katya Zamolodchikova, which was later adapted into the Viceland program The Trixie & Katya Show. Aside from her musical and television accomplishments, the drag legend has also blossomed within the worlds of cosmetics (her self-started Trixie Cosmetics company regularly releases quick-to-sell-out new items), blogging (recently launched the GOOPED newsletter with drag partner-in-crime Katya via Substrack), writing (Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood was a NY Times Best-Seller), podcasting (The Bald and The Beautiful is a Queerty Award-winner), digital content creation (her multiplewebendeavors recently won her an American Influencer Award), and television (her forthcoming “Trixie Motel” renovation show is currently in production for a 2022 season via discovery+).
